FAQ: Is my dog “too far gone” to qualify for Canine Coverage?

We get it, a lot of dogs out there have serious behavioral issues. And oftentimes, owners of these dogs are told that their dog is "too far gone" and a "safety risk", and the only way out of their situation is euthanasia.

Let me say this as clearly but compassionately as possible:

We won’t turn dogs like that away. Ever.

Severe aggression, anxiety, reactivity, biting, shutdown dogs, overwhelmed dogs... none of that disqualifies you. In fact, those are the dogs who need support the most, and they’re the exact reason Canine Coverage™ exists.

Whatever your dog is facing right now is covered under your monthly plan, and anything that comes up later, setbacks, regressions, new behaviors, is covered too. You never lose access just because life gets messy or your best friend's emotions get complicated.

And if you feel like you need help right now, you can skip our normal 90-day claim eligibility period through getting our Fast-Track Coverage. It’s application-only, but it's there for dogs who just can’t wait.

Your dog isn’t “too far gone.” They’re a dog who needs expert understanding, not judgment, and we’re here for them every step of the way.
